Screen Printing Process
After the art has been approved by both you and in-house, our art department will print acetates with the design you've approved on it. The acetate will then be placed against a screen that has a photosensitive emulsion on it. After the emulsion is bound to make a solid layer, the screen is sprayed with water to wash off the emulsion where the image was placed against the screen.
When the screen is ready, it is taken to and placed in the screen printing machine and covered in ink. Our team then loads your chosen apparel and sets to work! After the design is imprinted onto the garment, it is sent through a dryer, where the ink is heat-set. This makes your design permanent and washable.
